For every role, as an optional add-on

An assistant that proposes, and never decides

An optional add-on that reads your spreadsheets, your draft returns and your own measurement history, and hands the answer to a person. It never files anything, never changes a figure, and never sees more than the person asking it can already see.

AI assistance

What it will not do

It never files with HMRC, never edits a figure on a return, and never widens who can do a job: using an assisted feature takes exactly the permission that doing it by hand takes. Buying the add-on gives nobody new authority over anything.

Assisted import mapping

Migrating off a legacy ledger means somebody naming forty columns like "Csk No" and "Date W/H". This proposes the mapping, with the evidence it used and an honest confidence, and the same review step the manual route has always had still applies before anything is written.

Returns pre-flight review

Reads a draft W1 alongside the records behind it and lists what a careful colleague would ask before you file: an ownership change with no Delivery Order behind it, a movement long undischarged with no shortage reported, an opening balance that does not continue last period. It reads and writes a list. Filing stays where it was.

Loss forecasting

Compares each cask against the casks stored like it, same premises, same storage type, same size, and flags the ones losing materially more. Calculated entirely from your own regauge history, so nothing leaves your system, and a flag is a reason to look rather than a finding.

Blend proposals

Chooses casks for each role of a blend formulation inside its tolerance bands, then explains what actually drove each choice, including when a role had no real choice at all. The blender takes the roles that work and reworks the rest; nothing is bound until they do.

Identity documents never leave your system

A passport or identity card is read from the machine readable zone at the foot of the page, on your own servers. That is a fixed international format with check digits, so it is arithmetic rather than interpretation, and no outside service is involved. Source of funds documents are not read automatically at all, because doing so would mean sending somebody’s financial records out.

What leaves your system, and what does not

Features are switched on one at a time because they differ in what they send. Assisted mapping sends column headings and a handful of sample values, not the file. Loss forecasting and identity document reading send nothing at all. Anything that does send something needs somebody in your organisation to accept it first, and the acceptance can be withdrawn.
